Why you will never make money online with your home based business

Find out what the so called Guru’s don’t want you to find out. It’s so simple, but requires you to stay focused.

There is a simple reason why many people fail to make any money online (at all!). Many people read, read and read and do not take action. You have probably heard it before, but it’s true. The so called Gurus keep you so busy studying and buying their products, they do not help you at all. Only a few of them really answer individual questions that may help you to think outside the box or even create a product or system of your own.

Information overload Is a common problem I too have experienced myself. You are constantly trying to find out how people make money, but you forget to try to implement the techniques you have learned so far. Finding new opportunities for your business is essential. It is essential to buy anything that could provide value to you and your business. What I recommend is to write down everything you remember after reading an ebook, course, tutorial, Watching a video on YouTube, Listening to a podcast or whatever else is out there (this may seem pretty obvious, but you would be amazed by the people that just won’t do it). Mike Dillard famous author of “Magnetic Sponsoring” uses the simple “notepad” text editor on his PC and creates a folder to save all of his text files in there. He writes down the five tasks he wants to accomplish each day like Write an Ezine article about the 10 reasons to have a Twitter account or upload a new video to YouTube with relevant tags in the description. Notice these are actual tasks not just a generic to do list. Set clear manageable tasks to complete and you will be amazed at what you will accomplish in just a couple of days.

Actually, I am surprised to learn that many people suffer the same problems as me, when I first started out. To get help ask your friends on Facebook or Myspace. These are great social networks and help build a conversation so you can begin to build relationships with your audience. I always ask open ended questions and I am amazed at the responses I get. Example: “Today I am learning about YouTube what kind of videos do you enjoy Educational, How-To or Funny?” On the surface this looks like just another open ended question and it is. It’s also market research for you to find out what your audience likes so you can get more views and stay interesting. That way you can save time and get a head start to become attractive and gain more subscribers to your channel. Try to limit starting too many projects. Stay focused, learn 1 major skill at a time and master it.

Have you heard of the 80/20 rule of marketing? 20% of our work determines 80% of our outcome! Try to find the 20% that will work for you. Do not try to master skills that are not important for your business. Set detailed realistic goals.

Also make use of all the free resources. There are many free trials out there (See my list of Automation Tools I Use for examples). Most important make it a daily habit to take action and practice, practice, practice.
